At this level you have to take your chances, because they are few and far between, or youâll get punished, Gary. I think weâve been watching so much football punditry that the language is rubbing off on me. Itâs unbelievable, of you donât have the confidence to take it all the way, if youâre not as solid in defence as you are ruthless in attack… There I go again. But itâs no surprise that I am a little zoned out, Gary. Weâve worked on five tracks in four days, watched as many matches, run the immaculate loop and talked about just about everything. Now Iâm on the way back to town, soul lagging behind, still somewhere just outside Leap. Mind strangely empty, in neutral. Half time, thatâs what itâs like. Itâs started but itâs not over, but nothingâs happening. Thereâs a long way to go Gary, both physically and metaphorically. Letâs just hope the lads are up to the challenge.

âIâm Nobody! Who are you? Are you – Nobody – Too? Then thereâs a pair of us? Donât tell! theyâd advertise – you know! How dreary – to be – Somebody! How public – like a Frog – To tell oneâs name – the livelong June – To an admiring Bog!â Emily Dickinson So we have poetry in our hearts and music on the hard drive. We have fed the dogs, stared out of the window, scared away the crows, now it is time to take stock. There are new tunes. For the record they currently have these names: Promenade Des Anglais, Coeur De Lyon, Macaroon, Afrobeat and Cape Clear.
