THAT FUZZY FEELING: KING KRULE – PORTRAIT IN BLACK AND BLUE

King Krule, aka Zoo Kid, aka Archie Marshall from Peckham, south London, hits again with this great, moody song. It’s taken from the King Krule EP, out now on True Panther Sound Records.

Turntable Edit

It’s Dad House at it’s best -, You’re Gonna Miss Me When I’m Gone, the 80s classic from Turntable Orchestra, in fine re-edit form from FingerManEdit. Still irresistible.

New Clown & Sunset

There are two new bits from Nicolas Jaar’s Clown & Sunset label on this week’s show. His new one, Don’t Break My Love, can be downloaded for free from the C&S website. It’s as dark and deep and glitchy as you would expect. As is the forthcoming single from new artist Darkside. More late night locked in the basement winter music for sure.

The Wurst Music Ever

This new compilation from Wurst Music is worth checking, first for the title, because it’s one of the worst, and therefore most brilliant, puns ever. But also, of course, for the music, which is strangely compelling, funky and Balearic. My favourite track is from Chicago Damn.
